Lastly, will both phones also have UMAH T Mobile Hot Spots Compatibility?
Thank You
Larry Carson

Re: RIM announces BlackBerry 8820

RIM informed me when thier rep did a demo of the new curve for tmobile the 8820 was not UMA, but the new curve is. This was 07/18/07.

For the memory bug change your memory allocations to 12M for device memory and 5M for picture reserve. Will stop the log and messages from being cleared.

Re: RIM announces BlackBerry 8820

ah, the memory leak with the call logs, etc? what version of code are you running?

Re: RIM announces BlackBerry 8820

what memory bug?

I've never had a problem with my 8100

Re: RIM announces BlackBerry 8820

I wonder if they will fix the memory bug that plagues the 8100 and 8800 series devices right now. Oh wait, RIM doesnt want anyone to know about that yet.

Re: RIM announces BlackBerry 8820

Personally im wanting the Pearl with Wi-fi and 3.2 that is supposed to launch later this year. 8800 is just too bulky for me.

Re: RIM announces BlackBerry 8820

The Blackberry doesn't need a touch screen, in fact I'd say its more efficient without it. If you want a screen to poke at, get an iPhone.

Re: RIM announces BlackBerry 8820

Touchscreen? It is only using wifi for data access. Unlike the hotspot @home for tmobile which uses wifi for voice calls.

Re: RIM announces BlackBerry 8820

I second that, add a camera, oh and a touch screen and I'll drop my Treo in a heartbeat.

Re: RIM announces BlackBerry 8820

When they roll this model with a Camera I'll be happy.
